The Guardian Angel Society was formed in 1997 by Rev. Msgr. Joseph Champlin when he realized too many students were not graduating from high school. He wanted to help students at Cathedral School with tuition and other support to make sure they continued, and ultimately completed, their education.
Today, students at the consolidated Cathedral Academy at Pompei and their families continue to face financial struggles. For many, this becomes even more difficult due to changing demographics and the challenges caused by the current economy. We want to celebrate the start of the new school year with our annual fall appeal. This Appeal goes directly to our Sponsor A Student Line, where you can donate directly to our students’ tuition aid. This school year, students can expect tuition costs of over $5,200 at the elementary level.
