The Guardian Angel Society was formed in 1997 by Rev. Msgr. Joseph Champlin when he realized too many students were not graduating from high school. He wanted to help students at Cathedral School with tuition and other support to make sure they continued, and ultimately completed, their education.

Today, students at Most Holy Rosary and Blessed Sacrament Schools and their families continue to face financial struggles. For many, this becomes even more difficult due to changing demographics and the challenges caused by the current economy.
